Ocean Cure is a nonprofit organization based in Carolina Beach, North Carolina, dedicated to increasing beach access along the coast and improving quality of life for its participants through adaptive surfing. For more than ten years, Ocean Cure has served thousands of participants and families facing a wide range of physical challenges and disabilities, using beach wheelchairs, accessible pathways, and adaptive surfboards to open up beaches that might otherwise be out of reach.
A dedicated group of trained volunteers and professional instructors supports every participant, both on land and in the water, so that no obstacle stands in the way of the experience.
